Lesley was born in Lanark, Scotland, on January 8, 1973. The family moved to the United States in 1977. She grew up on the north side of Houston, graduating from Westfield High School in 1991 and Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas in 2000 where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree. For a few years, Lesley accepted positions as a Traveler Occupational Therapist in California, London, Texas and Colorado, before finally settling in the lovely town of Montrose, Colorado. Lesley found true joy in the state of Colorado vowing never to leave. She loved music and traveling, and was an avid skier, snowboarder, hiker, climber, golfer, camper, with a passion for the Colorado outdoors. She received Master Gardener and Horticultural Therapy Certifications from Colorado State University in 2003. Lesley’s final resting place will be in Colorado, where after a service, her ashes will be scattered in the San Juan Mountains the weekend of June 23rd. Open invitation.
