Leroy A Lilie

Leroy A Lilie of Sugarland, Tx passed away on Friday 10/13/2023 at the age of 89. He was born on 12/09/1933 in Moulton, Tx. He moved to Houston & met the love of his life, Mildred Mary Picha Lilie, and they married on 2/09/2957 & that’s there they lived for 65 years. He move to Sugarland February 2023.

He worked as a Produce Manager, a Vending Machine driver & in the Vending Machine Warehouse, while his

wife took care of the children.

He was actively involved in St Thomas Moore Catholic church & was head usher.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin & Tillie Lilie, brothers Edwin & Wesley Lilie, sisters Dorothy Bauer & Shirley Parr, and beloved wife Mildred Mary Picha Lilie, of 65 years. He is survived by his daughter Connie Lilie Cook & Son Michael James Lilie, 1 granddaughter Amber Lilie, 2 grandsons Christopher Cook & Jason Cook, and 3 Great Granddaughters Madeleine Cook, Sloan Cook & Emmeline Cook.

The family would like to thank Atria Assisted Living and Chelsea Gardens for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Service at Forest Park Westheimer at 12800 Westheimer on Friday 10/20/2023 at 2:00PM. Visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 pm. Service will begin at 2:00 pm with interment following at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
