Leonard Leo Lopez, 48, passed into eternal rest on July 28, 2020. He was born February 7, 1972. He was always a well-dressed person, always hands on with tools. Leonard didn't go far in school, but he was well-educated and filled with knowledge. He was a welder by trade. Leonard was active in serveral lowrider car clubs. He loved spending time with family and friends, tattooing was his art, and lowriding was his passion.
Leonard was preceded in death by Leo and Marry Balderas, and Edward Pesina that he knew as "Uncle Lowrider" Left to cherish his memories are his wife Erica Chacon; parents Larry and Gena, daughters: Desaray, Juanita, Alexis, Jessica, sons: Leonard, Rene, Alex, Adrian, Austin, ReyRey, Elijio, 19 grandchildren, sisters: Lesa Silvey, Jennifer Oropeza, Mary Ramos, Gloria Lopez, and brothers Larry Lopez, Jr. and Robert Lopez.
Services will be at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Visitation will be Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Friday, August 21, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. in the Grand Chapel at Brookside, with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
