Leonard Ray Davis

Leonard "Ray" Davis, 72, entered into eternal rest on March 4, 2015 and joined his wife, Phyllis. He was an avid fisherman, traveler and gardener, who loved the outdoors, enjoyed visiting casinos, horse tracks, bowling and watching sports as well as westerns. He was a dedicated Master Mechanic for 15 years at Anheuser Busch. After retiring he partnered with his sons to manage 4-D Trucking Inc. In his spare time, he enjoyed being with his family, especially his granddaughters and beloved dog, Molly, who recently passed away. He had a great personality and sense of humor that made everyone laugh. Ray’s kind heart will be greatly missed by many.

His memories will forever be cherished by his loving family: sons: Tony Davis, Jeffrey Davis with wife Belinda Davis and Darryl Davis with wife Pamela Davis, granddaughters: Holly Davis, Kristin Davis and Ashley Davis, preceded in death brothers: Preston Davis and Haskell Davis, preceded in death sisters: Lela Strickland, Esterlene Johnson, and Nell Coleman.

Visitation will be from 6-8PM on Sunday, March 8th. Funeral service will be held at 2PM on Monday, March 9th at Brookside Funeral Home and Cemetery. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
