Lele! I don't remember how or why I started calling you that! Lele you were more than a big cousin. You were my big sister.I always looked up to you and admired the woman and mother you were. I could come to you and talk when I couldn't talk to anyone else. I will forever remember the times spent together in my memories and hold love for you in my heart. Watch over me in heaven just as you watched over me on Earth.

A month ago today the trumpets sounded, Leona Renee Clark, the Pearly gates swung open, her Chariot came & ushered her into the Fathers Kingdom to take residency in her Mansion. I miss you so much I still catch myself picking up the phone to call you my heart is still heavy & tears still flow because I LOVE YOU so much. I'm holding on to all our memories & praying they get me through for I still don't understand why at this time GOD had to take you. I know HE knows best & I'm working on rebuilding my faith however I still wonder why at 32 for you the FATHER couldn't wait. Leona your SPIRIT is amazing for even in your absents it brings peace to the storms & your life's determination pushes me to continue on. My sister not by blood but by love & deeds tho I did not want you to go you have received your peace. The peace you so fervently & passionately brought to the lives of all those around you. My dear Leona it's been twenty-five days since your spirit joined our Heavenly Father. A day hasn't gone by that I've not thought about your sweet smile, loving heart and the nerdy way you joke around. I will forever carry you in my heart. I have always loved your strength and determination, which you continued to demontrate while in the hospital. I have always called you my lil soldier, because no matter what trials or tribulations came your way, you would never stop trying to accomplish your goals. I'm so sorry for your loss. My condolences to the family of Miss Leona. We were co-workwers at JCPenney. It was a pleasure knowing her.She was fun to be around and talk to.I know she will be missed on earth but God had plans in Heaven for her.

I graduated from TSU in 2006 Social Work with Ms. Leona.  I can remember she always had a smile and a kind word to utter.  Clark family please remember Our God makes no mistakes.  Stay strong in the Lord.

It is always sad to see someone so young gone before we think its time, but God had other plans for her.I knew Leona growing up, but I felt that I knew her through my cousin who was one of her best friend. Today I said see you later to a dear friend. Hurt so bad. This happen sooo fast. I just can't grasp this. Leona had an old soul. Leona, I've been knowing you for many years, we once worship together at Fisrt Baptist Church. I remember when your father passed away (Rev.Reginald Clark)Then GOD brought us together again, allowing us to be class mates, BTW class of 98. You always said how funny I was and I made you laugh. Still hard to believe your gone, so sweet,quiet,soft spoken, and humble. R.I.P. SWEET ANGEL TIL WE MEET AGAIN!!!

I watched this precious young lady grow up next door. Dear God, words seem so inadequate to express the sadness I feel about Leona's death.  

If I try to understand what it means to be a Christian, I look at the two instructions that were given in the Bible that are paramount, and those are to love God with all your heart and mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself. That's it.

This is such a hard thing to believe because who you are, one of the most loving people I have ever known. Though I wish you were still here but peace and comfort you have found in the arms of GOD.
