Rev. Leo E. Tippit was born on September 12, 1930 in Seadrift, Texas to the late Archie and Evelyn Tippit. He was called home to be with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 21, 2011 in Katy ,Texas. Also proceeded by brother Wayne Tippit.
Left to cherish his memories are his Wife Owena of 58 years; one son Reverend Garry Tippit and Wife Linda 2 Granddaughters - Ashley Fitzwater and Husband Daniel; and Natasha Ross and Husband Steve. 2 Great Grandchildren Caleb and Chloe. 1 Brother Leon Tippit and wife Mary; 2 Sisters Sue Ferguson and Vicky Warnock and Husband Dwayne.
Rev. Tippit was a Ordained Minister of The Assemblies of God for 57 years.
Celebration of Life service for Rev. Leo E. Tippit, 81 will be held on Monday 10:00 am September 26, 2011 at Newlife 18525 FM 529 Cypress, Texas with Rev. Stephen Weaver and Rev. Lynn Burling officiating.
The Family will we receiving guest for visitation on Sunday, September 25, during the hours of 6-8 pm at Brookside Funeral Home 9149 Highway 6 North.
