Leo Havel, 92, of Humble, TX, passed into eternal rest November 20, 2018. He was born in Chriesman, TX on August 26, 1926 to parents Edwin George and Theresa Mary Havel.

He married Olga Macik on December 21, 1947 and soon after welcomed four daughters. He worked as a machinist for Thorhill Craver/ Joy manufacturing for 40 years. He was a member of 1st Baptist in Humble, SPJST Lodge 88 and had a passion for fishing, hunting and growing his own vegetables.

He is survived by his wife, Olga Havel; daughters, Carolyn (Roger) Chancey, Darlene (Charles) Williams, Marlene (Byron) Sprawls, Brenda (David) McCullough; Brothers, Joe Havel and Amos Havel; sisters, Delphine and Judieth Havel; twelve grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and four great-great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Thomas Williams; and son-in-law Roger Chancey.

The family will receive friends for visitation Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, and a Funeral Service at 2:00pm in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, 77039 followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
