She is preceded in death by her husband, Ira Morgan of 60 years and her parents Joe and Willie Mae Eppolito, sisters Nancy Mattern, Josephine Pavlock, Angelina Swift, Willie Mae Bonham and brothers Gus, Vince and Carlo Eppolito.
Lena is survived by two sisters Frances Vaughn and Mary Ellis. She is survived by her children Rebecca Ann Morgan of Richmond, TX, Ira (Anthony) Morgan Jr and wife Lynn Morgan of Houston, Penny Kay Morgan of Richmond, TX, grandchildren Chase Lee Morgan, Brittany Marie Evans and husband John Evans along with numerous relatives and many friends.
Lena was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She was a proud and spirited lady who was deeply devoted to her family and their well-being. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
A visitation for Lena will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 507 S 4th St, Richmond, TX 77469. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 507 S 4th St, Richmond, TX 77469. A committal service will occur Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077. A reception will occur Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
