It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Le Van Nguyen, of Sugar Land, TX, on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at the age of 73 years surrounded by his devoted wife, children, and grandchildren.
Le was born on October 1,1947 in Bui Chu, Vietnam, the son of the late Sac Van Nguyen and Vong Thi Nguyen. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Tin Thi Nguyen, his four children Johnny Nguyen and wife Khanh, Kristina Moore and husband Jonathan, Van Dao and husband Truyen, Joe Nguyen and wife Phuong as well as 9 grandchildren Alexis Harris and husband Julian, Victoria Nguyen, Isabelle Nguyen, Emerson Dao, Evan Dao, Tyler Dao, Catherine Nguyen, James Nguyen, and Vanessa Nguyen. Le has two great-grandchildren Jayden Harris and Josiah Harris. He is also survived by his sisters Nhan Thi Nguyen and Hue Nguyen, brother Tuyen Van Nguyen, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was a loving husband, inspirational father, affectionate grandfather, doting great-grandfather, and faithful friend to all who knew him. He had an infectious smile and laugh that could light up a room. He is dearly missed and will be forever in our hearts.
Visitation will be held on February 4, 2021 and February 5, 2021 from 10 AM - 8 PM at Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park, 2454 S Dairy Ashford Rd, Houston, TX.
Prayer service will be held on February 4, 2021 at 5 PM at Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park, 2454 S Dairy Ashford Rd, Houston, TX.
A funeral mass will be held on February 6, 2021 at 9 AM at Christ the Incarnate Word Church, 8503 S Kirkwood Rd, Houston, TX, followed by a committal service at 10:30 AM at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX.
A lunch reception will follow the committal service.
