Lawrence E Jackson Jr, a resident of Houston, TX for over 20 years passed away on July 27, 2024 at the age of 80. He was born on June 28, 1944 in Atlanta, TX. However, he grew up in Port Arthur, TX and is a graduate of Lincoln High School, class of 1962. He was a Navy Veteran and worked at FINA Oil & Chemical Co. most of his adult life before retiring.
He is preceded in death by his father Lawrence Jackson Sr and his mother Perlean Jackson.
He is survived by his 3 children: Sheila Ignacio, of Beaumont, TX, Delvin Jackson (Tina) of Houston,TX, Torrie Payne (Tristan) of Richmond, TX, 4 grandchildren: Deja Ignacio and Barrid Ignacio of Beaumont, TX; Rylie Tyson of Houston, TX; Leena Payne of Richmond, TX and 1 great grandchild Gianna Ignacio.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston TX 77077 on Saturday August 17, 2024 at 10:00 am. Visitation with the family will begin at 9:30 am.
