LaWanda Swayne

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Milton “Bubby” Swayne.

Over the years, LaWanda worked as a bookkeeper at Heights State Bank and then later became a homemaker. She was a member of the Southbrook Civic Club and active with her church.

She enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing and spending time at the lake with her family and grandchildren.

She was survived by her son Milton R. Swayne, Jr. and wife Cindy; her daughter Mollie Linder and husband David; her grandchildren Cody Swayne, Casey Swayne and wife Victoria, Caleb Swayne and wife Shellcy, Justin Linder and wife Sarah, Ryan Linder, Allison Christensen and husband Conner; her great grandchildren Breanna Swayne, Aiden Swayne, Lilly Linder, Joleigh Linder and John Conner Christensen.

Funeral service will be Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00a.m. with the funeral service beginning at 11:00a.m.

Pallbearers are David Linder, Justin Linder, Ryan Linder, Conner Christensen, Casey Swayne, and Steve Neveu. Honorary pallbearers are Cody and Caleb Swayne who are currently serving in the military overseas
