Laverne W Parker

LaVerne was born to Rosa and Ernst Wunderlich on March 29, 1923, in Spring (Klein), Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Irma Hildebrandt, Winnie Voght, Iris Hirsch and her brother Jack Wunderlich. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Charley A. Theiss and second husband, James F. Parker. Grandchildren, Angela Theiss Hinchel, Clinton B. Theiss Sr., and great grand-daughter Danielle Sally. She is survived by her children, Karen Theiss Krumpholz, Jerone Theiss and wife Judy, Daryl Theiss, James D. Parker and wife Phyllis, and Kathleen Parker. Her grandchildren, Shelley Young and husband Ray, Edwin Brzymialkiewicz II and wife Diana, Rebecca Hutchinson and husband Charles, Quentin Theiss and wife Sherry, James M. Parker and Timothy Parker. Twenty great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 28th from 5-8 p.m. at Brookside Cypress Creek Funeral Home located at 9149 Highway 6 North, Houston, Texas 77095. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at St. John Lutheran Church, 15235 Spring Cypress Road, Cypress, Texas 77429. The Rev. David Shultz officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, Texas 77060. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
