Laurie Ann Sawyer

Laurie Ann Sawyer, 37, of Tomball, TX, passed away on September 24, 2013 in Houston, TX. She was born on February 28, 1976 in Glens Falls, NY to Robert Hall and Patricia Sawyer. Laurie’s family relocated to Houston where she spent her life. She graduated from Scarborough High School, class of 1994 and received her Associates of Arts at Houston Community College. Laurie always lived life to the fullest from her friends, her hobbies and business adventures to music and eclectic taste for all types of food.

Laurie was a Scentsy Director and worked in accounting for a petroleum company. Some of her hobbies included foods, friends and music.

Laurie is survived by her fiancé, John Spencer; her parents; her siblings, Bruce, Brian and Brent Hall and Lisa Sodolak; her nieces, Amber Hall and fiancé Mike, Autumn Florus and husband Dawson, and Haley Slaughter; her nephews, Zachary and Joshua Sodolak and Jeremy and Jason Hall; her God-children, Anna and Kate Jaeger; her step-daughter, Emili Storey; as well as other loving relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Laurie’s Life will be held at 11am on Saturday, September 28, 2013 in the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home Champions, 3410 FM 1960 West, Houston, TX 77068.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the medical team at Methodist Willowbrook Hospital and for the tremendous outpouring of support and prayers from Laurie’s friends during her courageous battle for her life.
