A loving mother, always kind  and thoughtful to everyone, and just a wonderful person. Mrs. Rhodes will be missed by all. When tears of sadness may occur  from time to time, tears of joy soon will come afterwards with smiles and laughter because she was a grand lady that touched everyone she came into contact with during her life. She will be missed, but never forgotten.

You will truly be missed.  You were one of my favorite aunties.  When I was little I loved coming to your house because you always had baked a cake and you would always give me a slice and some to take home.  I will definitely miss at the holidays your cakes you would bring.  I also enjoyed when you and Aunt Carrie Lou would pick me up from daycare and we would go to the store together.  I will cherish these special moments together.  But now you will be reunited in heaven with your sisters Faye and Carrie Lou.  We will see each other again in heaven.  I love you and will miss you.

Ms. Laura will be greatly missed. She was a good woman that genuinely cared about everyone. I am so glad I got the opportunity to have her in my life as a friend and second mom. I could always count on her to come over on Thanksgiving and bake sweet potato pies. I think I used just about every excuse in the book to get a pie from Ms. Laura! I will never forget the  holidays  we shared with her beautiful short freshly trimmed gray hair and wonderful smile! Oh yea ... she was a woman with style, class and dignity!

I know that you will never really be gone, but you will be in a different place spreading joy and happiness to other families, and they will get to know and love you just like your earthly family did.  

Though your adventurous journey on earth has ended, you cannot rest too long for the Lord will call on his special angel again to further his mission of spreading love and kindness throughout his nation.  I will never forget you and will always Love you, your niece Jantrese.   

Mrs Rhodes was such a sweet person a great cook and made the best banana pudding, I love her for her sweet kind spoken voice, she was also like my son grandmother, she would give him advise and he listen. Love you mama Rhodes you will be missed, rest in peace. Thanks Shari, little Tom and Jay for sharing her with us.

Another soldier in God's army has gone home to rest - prayerfully she's having heavenly tea  with her good friend and cousin Ella Wese Mays.  I'm also reminded that "After the Rain, The Son".  Peace and All Blessings from the Thompson, Benson and Mays Families.
