Jean retired from Houston Natural Gas Company after many years of service. She was a long time member of South Main Baptist Church in Houston, Texas where she actively sang in the choir. Following her retirement she relocated to Point Blank, Texas where she attended Point Blank Community Church and actively participated in the choir there as well.
Jean will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Pech and is survived by her daughter, Nelda Hannes; grandchildren, Todd Hannes and Lori DeLeon; great-granddaughter, Hailey DeLeon, and by her stepchildren, Betty Fogarty and James Pech.
A graveside service for Jean was held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 in Woodlawn Garden of Memories, 1101 Antoine Drive, Houston, Texas 77055.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Point Blank Community Church, 432 Robinson Way, Point Blank, Texas 77364.
