Latitia Ann Watson

Tish was born, raised, an educated in Houston, Texas. She was blessed and welcomed into the earthly life on October 2, 1953, to her proud parents; Robert and Vivian Sanford. Tish was the fifth child born to this union. She accepted Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, at a young age. Tish attended Dogan Elementary, E.O. Smith Jr. High, and Phillis Wheatley Senior High School. After completing Secretarial School, she worked for Houston Independent School District as a secretary for 30 years. After retirement, she worked for Hallmark. Shortly after her high school graduation she met Robert Watson, Jr. and her life changed forever. They married 5 years later in December of 1979 and to that union Jaquetta Watson was born. Together they raised three children, Robert Watson, III and Steven Sanford. Her parents, Robert and Vivian Sanford; two brothers, Kenneth Sanford and Charles Lewis; and two grandchildren, Kevin and Racquel Watson preceded her in death. Left to cherish her loving memories are her husband, Robert J. Watson, Jr.; her three children, Steven Sanford, Robert Watson III (Cheri), and Jaquetta Watson Lewis (Johnathan); her five sisters, Shirley Emerson (Ray), Christine Mayes (Nethaneel), Sandra Clark, Delores Sanford, and Vivian Roberson; her two brothers, Robert L. Sanford Jr. and Raymond Sanford; two sister-n-laws, Gladys Watson and Beverly Hickman (Lawrance); one brother-n-law, Willie E. Watson; one aunt Nellie Mae Moses (Harvard); one uncle William (Bill) Sanford, Jr.; four granddaughters, Jassinique Sanford, Ebony Sanford, Ibree Sanford, and Jordan Lewis; two grandsons, Johnathan Lewis and Brandon Watson; a great granddaughter, Mya Watson; her special nieces, Tremicka Stansberry (Errol), Sharron English (Eric), Valencia Sanford-Bates (Yolanda), Carretta Sanford, and De’Cassalyn Sanford; and five special boys, Ray Emerson (Brenda), Teddrick Sanford Sr., Elijah Sanford, Nijell Sanford, Bruce Roberson, Gabriel Lawrence, and Corey Lawrence; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, framily, and friends.
