Larry is survived by wife Anne, daughters Kristi Cox, Rachel Moore, and Regan Moore, sons Michael Brizendine and Ryan Moore sisters Terry Cogan, Sharon (Weldon) Yarbrough, Karen (Terry) Maynard, Tiffany (Dan) Catlin, Melissa Scarcella, granddaughters Peyton & Harper Cox, nephew Kevin Cogan, nieces Kathleen Cogan, Jennifer Yarbrough, Macy Catlin, Sofia Catlin, as well as a loving extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. Larry was preceded in death by his mother Francis and cousin Ben Calvert.
Larry was a native Texan that loved restoring classic cars with his father, bowling, golfing, rock concerts all things Texans and Astros, but most of all spending time with his family and friends. For decades you could find him in a weeknight bowling league or on the golf course Sunday mornings but only if his kids didn’t need his expertise in completing a school project, volunteering for their extra circular activities or the need of any other request that he always placed ahead of his own.
The family would like to thank all the faithful friends for their love and support, including the entire Fish Electric Family. Also, we are tremendously appreciative to Lauren of Life Point Hospice for her remarkable level of care.
Visitation at 10 AM with a memorial service beginning at 11 AM honoring the life of Larry will be held Monday, February 15, 2016 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home 13102 North Freeway Houston, Texas 77060.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests gifts to the American Red Cross, who has been instrumental, through the military communications division, in reaching a service member during this family emergency.
