Larry Wayne Reyes

Larry Wayne Reyes, aged 62, departed peacefully to be with our Lord on the afternoon of June 12, 2024, following a hemorrhagic stroke late on Monday evening, June 10. He was born to Raymond Reyes and Esther Martinez on February 5, 1962 in Richmond, Texas.

Larry was an exemplary man—a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, friend, manager, mentor, and coach. He fought the good fight and finished his race strong. His selfless spirit and commitment to serving others truly made him the best person anyone could know.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Amelia (Molly) Reyes (66), and his children, Destani (Ariel) De La Rosa (37), Larry (Natalie) Reyes II (34), and Julian Reyes (33) and his step children Aaron Brown (38), Ashley Brown (34), Traci Brown (30). Larry loved his 14 grandchildren.

Although his family was his pride and joy, Larry poured his heart into being a light that illuminated everyone around him. His kindness and generosity touched countless lives. His legacy is one of strength, hard work, honesty, loyalty, righteousness and hospitality. Larry will be deeply missed, but his life and legacy will continue to inspire us all.

Rest in peace, Larry. We will see you in glory.
