Larry J. Chmiel, born August 23, 1971 to Floyd and Helen Chmiel in Houston, Texas, went home to be with the Lord July 4, 2012. Larry is survived by his mother; twin brother, Harry A. Chmiel and wife, Denee; sister, Jeannine Cooley and husband Kenny Watters; sister, Cathy Luthi; sister, Susan Carter and husband, Jerry; nieces and nephews, Jamie, Anthony, and Bryan Cooley, Michelle Williams, and Michael and Eddie Luthi, and by close friend, Melissa Tobola-Chmiel, as well as aunts, uncles, other family, friends, and co-workers, and his dog, Drake (like a son to him).
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Heights Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2012 at Saint Anne Catholic Church, 2140 Westheimer, Houston, Texas 77098. Interment will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
