Larry D Bridges

LARRY DUANE BRIDGES, 5th Generation Texan, was born in Houston on Friday 13th, November 1953. He left his cherished friends and family to join his father and mother Donald and Virginia Hibbard Bridges in eternal rest on Friday, January 29, 2016.

Larry was a proud graduate of South Houston High School, Class of ’72, attended San Jacinto Junior College, and served in the US Army 1972-74. He returned to school in 2012, attending Houston Community College the last 3 years (and yet, somehow avoided completing his Degree… his real degree plan was Student of Life!)

Larry is survived by son Jeremy Taylor; sister/brother-in-law Deborah Bridges and Dennis VanWye; brother/sister-in-law Rusty and Sheri Bridges; nephews/wives David and Danyale Bailey, and Dan and Jennifer Craig, nephew Drew L Bridges; great-nephew Donald Owen (Doc) Craig; uncles/aunts Jackie and Dorothy Hibbard, and Bobby and Susan Hibbard, and many adored cousins (by blood, and as understood in Hawaiian).
