LaNelle Doris Murray, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away at her home on Saturday, May 18, 2019. She was born November 3, 1927 in Deanville, Texas to Jim and Josephine (Sophie) Lacina Malinak. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church where she has been involved in the life of the parish as a member of St. Vincent de Paul, Altar Society, Harvest Years, Weddings, Quinceaneras and most church activities including the taking care of Father’s Vestments. She was also a Eucharistic Minister and enjoyed taking care of parishioners that were unable to attend mass. She enjoyed dancing and watching her grandchildren’s sporting activities. She also enjoyed watching the Astros play baseball.
LaNelle is survived by her children, Gail Allee; Barbara Spain and husband, Rick, Chris Murray and wife, Janet and Tommy Murray and wife, Sherry; grandchildren, Steve Breaker, Nicki Allee, Carrie Spain, David Spain, Kelli Smith, Chris Murray, James Murray, Angela McGullion, Katherine Rich, Amanda Murray McCarty, Amber Weisbrod, Ashley Murray and Aimee Murray along with 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Evelyn Ringo and Patty Arnett and goddaughter, Carol Tandy along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, J.C. (Jake) Murray, brother, John Arnold and sister, Sylvia Binford.
Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Breaker, David Spain, Tyson McGullion, James Murray, Chris Michael Murray, TJ Arnett and Ryan Smith.
She will be greatly missed by all who’s lives she touched.
