Funeral services and burial for Kyle Bennett, 35, are scheduled for 12:30 P.M. Friday at Brookside Funeral Home, 13401 Eastex Freeway, Houston. Memorial visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday at Brookside in the chapel. Kyle was born in Houston, Texas on September 22, 1975 at Heights Hospital to James and Beulah Bennett and passed away peacefully and surrounded by family and friends on February 4, 2011. Kyle received his first pacemaker when he was only eight days old and his first heart transplant at the age of nineteen. During that time Kyle graduated Valedictorian of his class at Sam Houston High School. Kyle continued his education graduating in only three years from the University of Houston, Summa Cum Laude, with a degree in Applied Mathematics. Kyle continued through a successful career at companies Mercer, KBR, and finally with Exterran as a Human Resource Manager. Kyle spent his life helping others both through volunteering his time to organizations such as Life Gift and Heart Exchange and by working with students at High Schools Sam Houston and Nimitz, and the University of Houston. It was through his volunteer work that he met his wife of nine years, Laura M. Montano. Kyle is survived by his loving wife Laura and son Mark Anthony; father and mother James and Beulah; brothers and sisters-in-law Kevin and Chris Bennett, and Jimmy and Alene Bennett; sisters and brothers-in-law Diana and Wayne Puccio, and Wendy and Kenny Eaton; father-in-law and mother-in-law Joe and Joan Montano; brother-in-law and wife Marq and Christy Montano; Uncle and Aunt Jerry and Robbie Wheeler; and many nieces and nephews.
