She was born to John R. Blocker, Jr. & Sheila D Blocker, of Houston, in Corpus Christi, on the 26 of May 1976. She attended The Awty International School, Frostwood Elementary, Memorial Junior High and Memorial High School, while living in Houston, TX. Kimberley graduated from Lincoln High School in Buenos Aires, Argentina after moving there with her parents in 1993. She attended Lincoln College in Buenos Aires and Houston Baptist University in Houston. She later earned a degree in Medical Coding & Billing.
Kimberley was an avid fan of music & enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She was known for her quick wit and infectious laugh. Kimberley enjoyed traveling and adventures. Some of her favorite experiences included a tandem sky diving excursion, a family trip to South Africa, a helicopter ride for a close-up view of the Statue of Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and living in Argentina for seven years. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her parents, John R. Blocker, Jr. & Sheila Blocker; Grandmothers, Billie Jean (Beeson) Drummond of Lafayette, LA, and Peggy Belcher Blocker of Houston; her sister, Heather Blocker-Orme; brother-in-law, Kevin Orme; niece, Caroline Elizabeth Blocker Martinez; nephews, Liam, Austin & Colin Patrick; brother, John R. Blocker, III; sister-in-law, Whitney Shelton Blocker; and a large extended family in Houston, and Lafayette, LA.
The funeral service is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 3rd of March, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, where Rev. Jeff Powers, Senior Pastor of Westminster United Methodist Church, is to officiate.
