Kim Allen Morton

Kim Allen Morton of Kingwood, Texas passed away at home on

Saturday August 21, 2021. He was born July 28th, 1949 in Springfield, Missouri. Only child of Violet Marguerite (Gamble) and William Robert Morton. He graduated in 1967 from Hillsdale High School, San Matero, California. Kim attended University of Pacific Stockton, California from 1968-1975 receiving his undergraduate and master's degrees. He then moved to Houston, Texas and attended the University of Houston where he earned Physical Education Certification.

Kim taught Physical Education at Houston ISD R.C. Chatham

Elementary from 1976-1988. He retired from teaching and became a self-employed genealogist assisting many families searching their

ancestry. He was an officer and member of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) Piney Woods Chapter # 51 of Humble TX.

Kim faithfully jogged 4 plus miles daily in the neighborhood before fighting cancer. He will be dearly missed by many friends, and cousins.
