Khoi Minh Tran

He was born to parents Man and Hoan Tran on May 15th 1930 in Tho Ninh Village, Ha Tinh Province in Vietnam. He dedicated most of his life to teaching as a Physics and Chemistry Professor. He also attended University of New Orleans and received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 1986. He was a beloved husband, father, and teacher.

He married Mai Hien Nguyen, the love of his life, in 1963, who survives him. Joseph Khoi Tran is also survived by daughter Mai Tran and son in law Dr. Peter Hoang, son Thomas Tran and daughter-in-law Martha Tran, granddaughter Dr. Diana Hoang, granddaughter Emma Tran, and grandson Ethan Tran. He is also survived by his sister Ky Tran and family, sister Tan Tran and family, sister Van Tran and family, brother Chau Tran and family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 19th, 2021 from 1pm to 8pm at the Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park 2454 S Dairy Ashford Rd, Houston, TX 77077

The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 20th, 2021 at 9am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 6550 Fairbanks N. Houston Road, Houston, TX 77040. Burial at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077 to follow.
