Khiem V. Ly (March 1, 1973 - June 20, 2024)
Khiem V. Ly, a beloved figure in our lives, peacefully passed away on June 20, 2024 in Sugar Land, at the age of 51, following a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Born in Ca Mau, Vietnam, Khiem was the youngest child of Hao Ly and Mai Thi Trinh. In September 1979, at the age of six, she embarked on a journey to the United States with her family.
Khiem shared her life with her devoted partner, Hieu Lam. Together, they built a loving family and treasured the moments they shared. Khiem was a dedicated mother to her children, Michelle Lam, Michael Lam, and Mae Lam, whom she adored deeply.
Beyond her role as a mother and partner, Khiem found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was passionate about cooking, sharing her culinary talents with family and friends alike. Shopping brought her joy, but her greatest happiness came from spending quality time with her loved ones, creating cherished memories filled with laughter and joy.
Throughout her battle with cancer, which began in January 2023, Khiem demonstrated remarkable strength and resilience. Her courage and grace inspired all who knew her, leaving an inerasable mark on their hearts.
A memorial service will be held to honor Khiem's life and legacy.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully declines all donations.
