He attended West University Methodist Pre-School, St. Vincent de Paul, Presbyterian School, Lamar High School and Oklahoma State University.
Kevin participated in SFL Football, West University Little League, Presbyterian School Basketball and Lacrosse along with HLAX.
He was confirmed in the Catholic faith at St. Vincent de Paul Church.
Kevin Reid had affiliations with His Grace Foundation, Dec My Room, Periwinkle Foundation, Pink Ribbons Project and Little Matt’s West University Place.
Little Matt’s, his favorite, was founded on faith, love, and hope in his name.
From the beginning, the goal has been to donate proceeds from this restaurant to Texas Children’s Hospital, while spreading encouragement and gratefulness in our surrounding communities.
For a decade, through Little Matt’s, Jim Reid has thanked God for his son’s life and survival of leukemia; strongly supporting TCH and other Houston area organizations.
His greatest love in life was for the Arsenal Football Club, PLC in London, England.

Kevin Michael Reid was the grandchild of Charles H. Reid, Vonda Sue Reid and R.D. Rabon.
He is survived Meghan Elizabeth Reid (sister), James K. Reid (father), Jennifer Lynn Rabon (mother), Catherine O. Rabon (grandmother), Richard David Rabon, Susan Reid Smith, Theresa Reid Alford, Charles Bender Reid and Mark Winston Reid.
A memorial service is to be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning on Friday, the 10th of December, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, where the Rev. Dr. Rick Ward-Harder is to serve as officiant.
Serving as honorary casket bearers are D. Patrick Whitty and Charles Bender Reid.
