Kent Martin Edwards, age 74, of Houston, Texas passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Memorial Hermann Hospital with his wife at his side.
He was H.R. Director for Fort Bend County from October 2007 until he retired in December 2020. He loved his job and his wonderful team. He survived by his wife of 50 years and two brothers; Paul and his wife Brenda and Bruce and his wife Elaine as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was always busy with projects and hobbies and loved golf. They enjoyed traveling and just returned from a cruise to Lisbon, Portugal.
