A former employee of Texaco, he worked there for 40 years. He loved his family and his church, Gethsemane Lutheran Church. He read his prayers every morning and loved watching the birds and squirrels in his backyard.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years, Gladys Ward, and is survived by his daughter, Kendra Williams; Son-in-Law, Scott Williams; Son, Craig Ward; and Daughter-in-Law, Debby Ward.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 12th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Pat H. Foley & Company, 1200 W. 34th St., Houston, TX. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 13th, at 10:30 AM, with a brief greeting time preceding at 9:30 AM, at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 4040 Watonga Blvd., Houston, TX.
