Kenneth Sparks, a man of boundless generosity, humor, and an unmatched talent for making cheesecake, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and laughter. He was born in Abilene, Texas, and spent his childhood in New Jersey before eventually settling in Corsicana, Texas.
Throughout his life, he embraced adventure, dedication, and an unwavering devotion to his family.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Kenneth dedicated much of his life to aircraft maintenance. His expertise and commitment led him to serve as a military contractor during the Iraq War, where he sacrificed comfort to support his loved ones by ensuring the safety of aircraft in challenging conditions.
Kenneth was a hopeless romantic, sharing many cherished years with his beloved wife, Julie. He was a devoted father to Rebekah Sparks and her partner Drew Murphy, Lolly Sparks and her son Ty, Zachary Sparks and his wife Katie Sparks, along with their two sons Logan and Judah, and Holly Sparks and her daughter Kinsley. He also cherished his stepson, the late Sam Chiaramonte, whom he held dear in his heart.
He is also survived by his brothers Wayne Sparks and his wife Janet, Michael “Web” Sparks and his wife Bhạc Cúc, and Kevin Sparks and his wife Tammy. He was preceded in death by his sister Denise Sparks, as well as Kevin’s late wife, Jeanette Sparks. Kenneth was the son of Neil Sparks and Gladys “Lolly” Sparks, who both preceded him in death. His parents instilled in him a strong work ethic, a deep love for family, and a sense of humor that he carried throughout his life.
Above all, Kenneth deeply loved his grandchildren. He made it a priority to spend time with them every week he was home from work, playing silly games and creating memories filled with laughter and joy. Whether it was making up stories, goofing around, or simply being present, he cherished every moment with them and took great pride in being their grandfather.
Beyond his work and family, Kenneth had a passion for classic comedy, training his son in the fine art of the Three Stooges. His quick wit, goofy nature, and warm heart made him a source of joy to those around him. Whether making others laugh, lending a helping hand, or perfecting yet another cheesecake recipe, he lived a life rich in love and generosity.
