On November 30, 1963, identical twin boys were born to the union of Buck and Mary Roberson of Houston, Texas. They were named Keith Earl Roberson and Kenneth Earl Roberson Sr. Kenneth attended elementary through high school in the Cypress Fairbanks School District and graduated from Jersey Village High School, class of 1982. At the age of 11 in 1974 Kenneth was baptized at St. James Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Melvin Smith. Kenneth was an active member of the youth choir at St James and both he and Keith were well known for singing the song “Tell Me Where You Gonna Run To”. Kenneth later joined Latter Day Prayer Band Ministry Church under his mother Pastor Mary Roberson. He continued his fellowship at Latter Day Prayer Band Ministry until his health failed.
On October 8, 1983 Kenneth and Vickie Gary were joined in Holy Matrimony. To this union four beautiful children were born: Victoria Lynn, Valarie Delores, Kenneth Earl Jr. and Zechariah Nathaniel.
Kenneth worked for Roberson Brothers Carpet Company for many years along with his father, uncles, aunts and many cousins. Later he worked for his father at Buck Roberson Carpet Company.
Kenneth departed his life on February 5, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents: Buck and Mary Roberson; his twin Keith Roberson; and brother in law Calvin Curry. He leaves to cherish his memories to his four children Victoria, Valarie, Kenneth Jr. and Zechariah; two sisters Hazel Marcel (Rich) and Tina Curry; One brother Jerome Hearne; two grandchildren Vincie and Bella; aunts and uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
