Kenneth Ray Dunlap

Kenneth Ray Dunlap, 77, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2014, peacefully at his home. He wan born August 30, 1936, in Houston, Texas to Kenneth S. and Pauline Lucher Dunlap. In 1954, he graduated from Reagan High School and in 1955, he married his high school sweetheart, Mildred Anne Skyvara, who preceded him in death in 1995. In 1960, he joined the Houston Police Department and served 27 years, retiring as a Lieutenant. Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Susan Dunlap Clayton, husband Melvin, grandchildren Krystal, Kevin and wife Heather, great-granddaughter Emily, brother Eddie and sister-in-law Linda and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 9th from 5-8pm at Heights Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 10th at 11:30am at Heights Funeral Home with burial to follow at Forest Park Westheimer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Alzheimer's Association in his memory. http://www.alz.org/texas
