Kenneth Clopton will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  He was my best friends Dad for over 50 years, Darlene..also my brother n law, married to my sister Linda for 8yrs.
When I think of Kenneth, i'm reminded of Hebrews 13:8,  like Jesus, Kenneth was the same yesterday,today and forever.
He was always cheerful and enjoyed his life.
I never in 55 yrs seen him mad or upset.  He never held a grudge and knew how to forgive.
He was kind to everyone.  Rest in peace and  we will see you on the other side Mr. Clopton...

I can hardly believe that my sweetheart has already arrived in Heaven. He loved life and would have stayed longer but I know now that he is so happy to be there and is rejoicing with those who went on before. Now, he, with all the others, are getting things ready for us, preparing for the Marriage Supper of The Lamb.  He is now part of the great cloud of witnesses that are cheering us on as we meet each day's new challenges. He's saying, "Don't give up, you can do it, people do what they want to do. So, want what Jesus wants you to do and serve Him, no matter what!" 
Oh, I miss him too, stopping at the door with a smile, waving to me when he got up in the morning; when I came back from errands and he turned his head, greeting me with a smile, knowing I was coming to give him a kiss. If I left all dressed up, and I asked if I looked okay, he would say, "Yes, I hope I don't lose you." Of course, l could go on and on about his kindness and the joy of being his wife in tough times and pleasant ones, but many sweet memories will remain in my heart forever, some to be shared and other precious ones, only for me!

Uncle Kenneth was on of the all-time greatest people to ever walk this earth!  He always put others before himself.  Ken had friends from all walks of life and never had an unkind word to say about anyone.  He was as friendly in San Francisco as he was in Spring.  Making friends all along the way.  Most importantly he loved the Lord and was never afraid to share what Jesus meant to him.  Al of the Markhams will miss Uncle Kenneth, his card games, his new pets, and his sense of humor.  But we will be with him again!

I can’t write about just one memory because I had so many memories that I will always cherish of my Grandpa. He was one of the greatest persons I was given a chance to know, he was always arms wide open with that genuine smile upon his face. My Grandpa thought me so much from letting me drive when I was a little girl who couldn’t touch the pedal he would just let me guide the steering wheel which my very first time I froze at the wheel as he told me turn it and he just let us roll into the ditch and he laughed as I freaked out but he thought me not to be scared to turn the wheel and after that day I knew what I needed to do unless I wanted to go back in the ditch. I also kept him busy with all my imaginary friend stories that he told me all the time as I was growing up, I’m gonna miss hearing him tell these stories to me. I was so lucky have gotten the time I ran the roads with him, buckling my baby dolls in, talking on the CB in his truck, going to church, picking up supplies for his BBQ Wagon and so many other adventures. He thought me how to make sausage from scratch and stuff it, one night I fell asleep on him when we took a break he couldn’t wake me and the next morning he told me he had a mess because I fell asleep and he was trying to do it alone. My Grandpa was hands down the best Grandpa a girl could ask for! He would have done anything for me and I know because he would always say, ”You’re my Grand daughter aren’t you?”with that smile upon his face. I have so many other memories with him but not enough room to write them all. I’m gonna miss him so much but I thank God for giving me the chance to know and have the best man in my life! I love you Grandpa and I’m gonna miss you until we meet again! 

I am so glad you were able to see me walk down the aisle to marry my best friend. When you meet Brian and seen him and I together you said he is the one. You called him Lucky from the first day you met him and that became a nickname for him. I am thankful he was able to meet you as you were a very special man in my life! 

One of my favorite memories you would always bring up, me falling asleep when you were getting me an Ice cream and me telling you you ate my ice cream when I woke up. In this photo I didn’t know would be one of my last memories of us together cutting up. You wanted an ice cream and said just a little so I brought you the smallest bowl of ice cream seeing your face and you just laughing at me was great! I then went to get you the ice cream cone in this picture, I remember telling you that was my ice cream cone and that you ate my ice cream just like when I was little. You swear that you threw it out the window but I didn’t believe you.  I let you know I finally believed you that you didn’t eat it but you said yeah you think I still ate it and we just laughed and continued to take photos. 

You had a heart of gold and always this cool sense to you. I could spend hours of my day with you and enjoy every moment. We could play kings in the corner, dice and many other games for hours. I am thankful I was able to get so many great memories of us together and the things we enjoyed together. Love ya bunches! 

This was one of many Birthdays we got to spend with you and getting you to put a funny hat on so I could get a picture. We had some good times from getting you to put on wigs to funny hats so we could laugh. You always let me get a picture so later we could look down the road and laugh about those good ole days. I will always remember posting on Facebook the red wig photo and you calling me to ask if I posted it because you were getting calls about it. I will miss getting to do this with you but when I see a funny wig or hat I will make sure to put it on and take a photo so I can look back and think about you looking down at me and probably laughing because that was just something we did. I’m gonna miss ya so much Grandpa! 

Dear family: With a sincere heart I write - a very sad loss - I know he is rejoiciing -he will see his Patsy again-I’m imagining him at the feet of Jesus and meeting his Creator our almighty God - I’ve know Kenneth and Patsy for many years-loving caring friends I’ve ever known-after Patsy passed Kenneth knowing I have leukemia never failed to check on me-a surprising day I was unfriended but I still cherished times together and with his beautiful family-beautiful memories of his birthday and spending Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner with his family-I was not given the opportunity in person to tell him how much I appreciated his friendship through the years-memories are forever in my heart-with Christian love and condolences to  Kenneth’s beautiful family-Carol Holman

I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of Bro Kenneth. The last year has been so incredibly hard for me because of my grandparents dying so close together. And now my Pawpaw’s best friend and deacon for over 50 years is gone, too. Bro Kenneth was so sweet. I have the best memories of Patsy and Kenneth. My granny loved Patsy so much. The 4 of them were the best of friends and it’s so sad that they have all gone. It’s a definite different life without them now. Patsy and Kenneth Clopton were the best people and my grandparents best friends. I hope they are all rejoicing together. I miss them all and the church. Bro Kenneth was the sweetest to my grandparents. Im so thankful I have known these people ✝️💟
