Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, brothers James Clopton, Walter Clopton, sister Barbara Roberts, his loving wife of 57 years Patsy Clopton, great grandchildren Savanah Goolsby and Alycia Lizama.
He is survived by his wife Linda Clopton, sister Lynn and husband Juan Vasquez, 4 Children Raylene and husband Bert Noack, Darlene and husband Mike Peebles, Michael and wife Donna Clopton, Rusty Clopton, 11 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great great grandchildren with 2 new additions on the way.
Kenneth worked for Weingarten's for 24 years, then he opened his own business Ken’s Butcher Shop for 16 years. Later he opened Ken’s B-B-Q Wagon where he sold his famous bbq at Green Valley Baptist Church for 13 years. Kenneth retired from Rice Epicurean as a Butcher. Kenneth proudly served the Lord at Green Valley Baptist Church for 50 years of those 43 years he served as a Deacon. He was such a loving husband, uncle, brother, grandpa he was always there to support and take care of his family. He had a heart of gold and no one was a stranger to him. He always said, “ I will always serve the Lord no matter what!”
A visitation for Kenneth will be held Monday, November 14, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Family Chapel at Brookside followed by burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
