Keith James Coriell

Keith James Coriell, 71, passed away March 16, 2015 in Spring, TX. He was born in Thibodaux, LA and grew up in Des Allemands, LA outside of New Orleans. He attended Nicholls State University in Thibodaux and graduated in 1966 with a BS in Mathematics. After working for Union Carbide in New Orleans he joined in the US Army and served during the Vietnam War. Keith then started his 30 year career in the Oil & Gas industry with Texaco and then Shell Oil in Houston. Keith and his wife Chaere were married in Houston on June 12, 1970. Keith is preceded in death by his parents, George Sherman Coriell and Ruby Marie DeRoche of Des Allemands, LA. He is survived by his wife Chaere Coriell of Houston; son, Wade Coriell (wife Alison) of Houston; granddaughters, Ella and Mary Coriell; siblings Frances Weaver, Robert Coriell (wife Davelynn), Debrah Kelly (husband Thomas, deceased), Maureen Matherne (husband Brent) and James Coriell (wife Margaret) all of Louisiana.

Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm with a Rosary at 7:30 pm on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 1801 Sage, Houston, TX 77056. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
