Kathy Lee Kopernik, age 66, of Houston, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. She was survived by her two loving children Christopher (Nicole) Kopernik and Amy (Fabian) Arista, four grandchildren Erin Koehler, Ashley (John) Reed, Jesse Kopernik, and Courtney Kopernik, great grandson Jensen Reed, her sister Debbie Szczepanek, nephew Michael (Tammi) Szczepanek; Brother in law Thomas Tkacz. Preceded in death by her husband Edward A. Kopernik her parents Bob L. Jones and Elizabeth Jones, sister Shari Tkacz, brother in law Adam Szczepanek.
She will be laid to rest at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Crown Point, IN. A private graveside ceremony will be held in April 2025 due to winter weather.
