Katherine Wilson

Mrs. Katherine Goodall Wilson was born July 30, 1935 in Livingston, Texas to Matthew Goodall and Ms. Louana McGrew Butler. Later her mother married Henderson Butler. She attended public school in the Polk County School District. At an early age she united with Grace Hill Baptist Church. She later met and married Jessie Wilson, Sr. In this union five children were born. Katherine worked for Ineeda Laundry for twenty years and later worked for Bayou Glen Nursing Home as a housekeeper for six years. On Sunday, February 17, 2013, after a lengthy illness, she answered her Master's call and was transcended from her earthly home to her heavenly home. Katherine leaves to cherish her beautiful memories: two sons and one daughter Jessie Wilson, Jr. and wife Eleanor, James E. Wilson and wife Annete and Alice M. Wilson all of Houston, Texas; one sister Queen Ester Foster of Livingston, Texas; eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; two uncles David and Jeremiah Goodall; one nephew Carl Lee Foster; and a host of other relatives and friends.
