Katherine was a devoted and loving older sister to Ida whom she lived with throughout her adult life. Most of those years were spent living in West University.
Katherine was preceded in death by her sisters Nell Dudley, Mary Glass, Margaret Corbett, and Cecelia Alexander and her brother Michael Sweeney. Katherine is survived by her sisters Theresa Sweeney Conway and Ida Sweeney and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church (6921 Chetwood, Houston, Texas 77081). A reception at the church will follow.
