Katelynn Vy Nguyen

Katelynn was born in Houston, Texas on October 31, 2011 to parents of Minh-Tran Dang and Cuong Nguyen. She loved to play Roblox and Project Sekai. Her most favorite thing to do was spend time with her older sister, Mikaela doing arts and crafts. She was very artistic with everything she did. Alvin was always brotherly to her and always made sure she was taken care of. Ayden was always playful with her.

After Katelynn was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in 2019, she never gave up and fought tirelessly. With endless hospital visit and going through chemotherapy, radiation and surgeries she was always happy and rarely complained.

Katelynn was, without a doubt, the most loving child this world can ask for. We are devastated by the loss and feel the absence of Katelynn forever. We will never forget you and will always love you.

Katelynn’s memory will forever be cherished by her parents Minh-Tran, Cuong, Mama Kathy and her brothers Alvin and Ayden, and sister, Mikaela and grandparents Nhan Vo and Phung Dang and Nhan Vo and Chu Nguyen as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

A visitation for Katelynn will be held Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park, 2454 S Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX 77077. A visitation will occur Friday, October 7, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 2454 S Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX 77077. A committal service will occur Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 2454 S Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX 77077. A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 2454 S Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX 77077.
