3 years and taken way to soon!! Your babies miss you everyday and talk about you all the time!! We miss you  so much! Our angel, we love you.

It's been 3 years today but it still feels like yesterday. I think about you all the time and miss you dearly! You were taken way too soon and it breaks my heart.

I worked with Karen at MetroNational.  She obviously had more confidence in me than I had in myself and I learned so much from her during those years.  She loved her daughters and she loved her pets.  Prayers for the entire family as they move through these difficult times  without her….. 

Where to begin?   You were my first boss and my second mom. I had never met anyone like you. Strong and kind. You didn’t even evict me when I got a potbelly pig in 1991 which actually turned out to be a real pig.  

Karen, thank you for everything, being my mentor, long term friend and family to me.  You raised two beautiful and strong daughters to carry on your legacy.  Say hello to my Dad.  Love you so much! I’ll see you again when it’s time. 

We share so many first time life experiences together. I have such a hard time grasping the reality of life without you. Karen I have no words to express the void in my life without you fly high my sweet friend forever in my heart 

Ashley and Shelby,

I know what it is like to lose a parent but I can’t imagine losing my Mom at such a young age. I’m still in shock that my sister is no longer here. I can’t get the thought out of my mind that she will call me as soon as she feels better. It is all so surreal. Tomorrow and Tuesday will be very difficult for all of us. The only thing that gives me some peace is that my Dad was waiting for her in heaven with open arms. I love her and miss her very much! Jennifer and I will always be here for you guys and you are in our prayers every night. 

Nana, I miss you everyday. Some days I can feel you with me. I see the hummingbird and I know it is you stopping by. I love you!

Although we are many miles apart, our prayers go out to both of you and your family. It is a hard road but God will help each of you in this time of sorrow.

Mom, I still feel like this is just a nightmare and I am waiting for you to call or text or even walk through that door again! I know you are here with us and watching over us everyday! We miss you so much, this world is not the same without you here! My best friend, my hobby lobby buddy, Jayce’s sideline cheerleader, my everything…we miss you and love you so much! You put up such a hard fight with everything, but we know you are flying high with PawPaw Hogge and catching up! You raised me to be a strong woman, and I will continue to be that way! We know Karen is ok because she is with her dad.  She was such a beautiful lady and will be missed.   Our thoughts  and prayers are with Ashley and Shelby.  Your mom did a good job raising two strong young women.

Losing my sister, your Mother, is an indescribable pain. I also know the pain of losing a parent. 
It will take a long time to learn to live with this, but focusing on the wonderful things about your Mom- her zest for life, her willingness to help others, her focus on the goal in spite of emotions swirling about, her love and support of you, as her daughters and Mothers yourselves-will hopefully bring you peace and calm your soul as you try to move forward. 
My heart goes out to you both with the loss of your Mom. She was so proud of and loved you and the grandchildren. All of her family brought so much joy to her!

Karen was an amazing and very passionate person!!!

Our relationship initially started as a professional relationship as she managed the property that housed our county's COVID-19 response teams. She was very supportive and attentive to all of our needs. She always went above and beyond the normal call of her duty to ensure that all of our expectations were met. 

After noting her passion to serve and help people, she quickly became a friend.

She will be greatly missed!

Karen was a lovely to work with.   We worked with her for the past several years and enjoyed getting to know her.  She was no nonsense when it came to business, but extremely fair and patient.  We enjoyed talking with her when she came in and sharing stories.  We will all miss her.  We are sending our prayers and deepest condolences to her family.

She was such a delight to work with and she would always call and tell me how she was my favorite customer and how I needed to make sure everything was done perfect just for her.  I hear it now as I am typing it.  She will forever be in my heart and will be dearly missed.  My prayers are with her family.

Whenever Karen would pop into our main office, she would always brighten everyone’s day! She was always friendly and focused on doing an excellent job getting her numerous tasks done. She was an integral part of the Boxer family, an outstanding trainer who would sometimes throw an employee into the deep end of the pool when she knew they could handle it and always there as their safety net. She was calm and cool as a cucumber even in stressful situations. We will dearly miss her warm smile and genuine personality at Boxer. Sending warm thoughts and prayers for comfort to the family during this time. 

As a friend of the Grosscope family for 30+ years I send my heartfelt condolences for Karen’s life being cut so short this August.  As Diane and I spent time and conversation together  during the past month, we were praying hopefully that Karen would overcome this medical challenge.; God has now provided Karen with her eternal home. May Karen’s family and loved ones be comforted by God’s grace, peace and love in the days and weeks ahead.

During high school I spent many days and nights at the Hogge house.  Karen was always between Diane and I.  I considered her my little sis.  She would bring her pillow and blanket to sleep on the floor between us. Unfortunately we lost touch but when we finally reconnected, time had not passed. The love and closeness was still there.  I will miss my little sis.  She will be in my heart forever🧡

Karen, you are my North Carolina baby! I have loved you from the moment you were born and I will always love you! Now you are with your Dad and I know you and he are definitely catching up on all the news! 
I miss you, but I know you are in a better place. Rest In Peace sweet girl!

So many memories with this beautiful lady. She taught me so much when we worked together;  but my favorite of all is the countless hours our families spent together over the years! I will see you again;  until then rest in peace KT! Gone but never forgotten.

I have worked with Karen as a Boxer vendor since she joined the Boxer Family.  She was always smiling and treated us with the utmost respect.  I enjoyed working on projects in her buildings because she liked to be involved and I knew if I needed anything, Karen would do her best to make it happen.   She was a great leader, organized and on top of her stuff.  I, along with the JEM "family", will miss her.
