Karen Mignon Scroggins

She was born in Lake County Indiana on September 25, 1945. Karen Graduated from Pasadena High School in 1963. She was married to Gene T Scroggins until his death in 1989. Karen worked for Trans American Airways and Spring Independent School district.

Karen loved to play bingo and bunco. She also loved to watch sports. If there was a game on she was in front of her TV watching and yelling at the TV if they did something she didn't like.

Her absolute favorite thing was to watch and support her grandkids Quinton and Gabriela play football and volleyball.

She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Lynne Scroggins Staples and wife Amber Michelle Staples. Her GrandKids Quinton James Newton, Gabriela Renee Newton, Jesse Ryan Pasmore and Many Many that called her Mimi.

A visitation for Karen will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A committal service will occur Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
