Of all her accomplishments, Karen’s greatest achievements have been in the lives of her family and friends. She was the ultimate prayer warrior. All who knew her have lost the comfort of knowing that through thick or thin, she was there faithfully lifting them to the very throne of God. Everyone that knew her felt that she was their best friend. She had a unique gift to recognize and appreciate the talents in others and to make them feel loved and lifted by her presence. Her kind heart and brilliant smile allowed her to make everything sparkle. Visiting her home was magical, it was filled with unique and distinctive treasures. Her generous heart filled her home with love, family and friends, including an attitude that there was always room for one more. She leaves all her children and grandchildren with the knowledge that they were truly loved and they know that she loved the Lord.
Karen leaves behind 3 handsome sons and 1 beautiful daughter with their 4 perfectly matched mates and 7 extremely well behaved grandkids. Thad and Ali Keating w/ Max (9) and Fischer (6), Drew and Jackie Keating w/ Chris (8) and Ben (8), James and Riza Keating, Joy and Mark Thompson w/ Gage (6), Nate (4), and Katy (3).
Karen's funeral and all corresponding services will be held at Memorial Oaks located at 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079. Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 9th from 6 to 8 PM and a Memorial service and luncheon will be held on June 10 at 12:30 PM.
