Karen Ash

Karen A. Ash was born on November 25, 1959 to proud and loving parents, Herbert and Bertha Ash in Houston, Texas. At an early age, Karen accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized. She attended Sam Houston High School and went on to continue her education at National Education Center, where she earned an AAS in Accounting in 1987. Karen was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She was full of life and enjoyed being in the presence of her family and friends. She closed the book of life on Sunday, January 20, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Bertha Ash and her brother Herbert C. Ash. She leaves to cherish her memories: a son, Damion (Crystal); two daughters, Tanecia and Shaquita (Leroy); six grandchildren Trevion Ash, Trishtan Jiles, Crystalla Ash, Kryslynn Ash, Damion Ash, Jr. and Jaylon Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
