I worked with Kameron at Camp Pendleton for his first duty assignment with the Marine Corps.  Kameron was full of life and personality and I'm sorry to hear of his passing.  Kameron will truly be missed by those who were blessed by his unique personality and my thoughts are with his family and friends during this challenging time.

Kameron was an amazing young man. Whenever I saw him he was always smiling.  I could always count on him to make me laugh.

Suazo, I met you at one of the lowest times of my life, and you kept me going every minute of that hard time. I can’t thank you enough for the impact you had on me to keep going and earn the title of Marine. It breaks my heart to hear this. Rest in paradise brother. You are so loved.

It really broke my heart to hear the news about your sudden death.  Every time I saw your face ,while you were at bootcamp, you always had a smile.  You always had this light that followed you wherever you went.  Even through the hardship of becoming a Marine, and as one of your drill instructors you somehow  manage to bring my spirits up in the most uplifting kind of way.  Always with a kindred spirit you push through each and every day.  You motivated those around you and never gave up.  You will always be remembered and never forgotten.

Suazo! So many good times brother you were so funny in BMP. Always telling me when you rented Camaros or the amount of shoes you would buy was crazy man if  I could take myself back to those days just to hear the jokes and funny things you would say I definitely would. Rest in peace brother it was an honor to serve alongside you and call you my brother Semper Fi!

I’m deeply sorry for you loss…..it is true when they say that good takes the good ones up first, everyone else will wait their time here on earth until it’s our turn. Suazo was an amazing Marine, he would always find a way to help me with any issue I had, which speak volumes of his character. He had a great sense of humor and would always be willing to help anyone out. This is a blow to the Marine Corps as he will truly be missed! Until we see each other again brother, rest easy and keep the gates of heaven secured!

I wish I could see you one more time, come walking through the door… But I know it is impossible, I will hear your voice no more.

I know that you can feel my tears, and you don’t want me to cry, yet my heart is broken to understand why someone so special would die.

I pray that God will give me the strength and somehow get me through, as I struggle with the heartache that came the day that I lost you.

I am so sorry for your loss. Kameron would light up any room with his smile and personality. He got us through multiple field exercises. I remember when he went out to the field with the COC and he was so proud to be a “field Marine” now.  He always had the best snacks and candy and would always be willing to share with his fellow Marine. He will truly be missed. Semper Fidelis.  Until we meet again.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I miss my brother, from the countless hours of trash talk In the COC, to the numerous games of speed, and trying to get you to eat vegetables, or making you laugh to just to get that cackle out of you, you truly brought an energy that was unmatched and will forever be cherished in my heart,  I know you never let me live it down that you tapped me out. I hope one day I can bring the joy you brought to me to other people because a friend like you is one in a million. RIP brother

I’m the kid that got trouble with kam at black middle school we had do 90 days in different school besides that he was one my closet friends in middle school funny as hell we always was acting up sorry mom but we still graduated middle school 💀when I seen him in the Marnies I said ol hy I never expected this I know he was natural warrior so hopefully my boy resting now at peace in Jesus name Amen

Suazo you have always brought the most light to everyone that was able to be honored to be in the presence of you. You truly were a blessing, not only as a Marine but a friend. It was never a dull moment spent with you and that’s why everyone loved you! To your family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Suazo was one of the most amazing individuals I have ever met and you raised an amazing man!

I’m truly sorry for your lost. Kameron Suazo was always super energetic, easy going, and brought a ton of life to the section. He was definitely the Marine you would look forward to seeing if you were having a bad day and needed to hear a few jokes to pick yourself up. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to serve alongside Kameron and his presence will be missed. I’ll never forget the numerous times he would remind me “Sir, you’re only a few years older than me.” Until we meet again, brother!

Kameron D'Shon Suazo was one of the most loving and caring Marine and person I ever met. He was like a son to me. He will definitely be missed by everyone he touched in his life. “Suazo!!!!” All the Marines at CLB-1 know my call for him.

My brother , so grateful for you and your family. All it took was you and your brother coming up to us trying to play football when we went to Welch. Led to a 10+ year friendship that I’ll never forget. Yall took me in like I was family, we did everything together &  went everywhere together. I remember playing MW2 ,  GTA V and mortal kombat from outside the window when your mom said no company lol. And eating that weird combo of Takis and sour cream, and making granola with your mom and eating all her air heads while watching Talladega Nights, and her singing in the car while dropping us off at school….Til Valhalla brother , May we meet again !
