Jeff was born to William Franklin Riley & Ora Lee Pate January 6, 1928, in Lufkin, Texas. Jeff graduated From Missouri City High School, was a veteran of the US Army, and received a BA from the University of Houston. He married Caryl Jean Lovejoy on November 26, 1949, and they lived together in Houston, Texas. Together they raised 3 children.
He is survived by his 3 children, Linda Caryl Lambert, of Houston, Texas, James Ewell Riley and wife Vivian Riley, Of Cypress, Texas, and Shirley Kay Ghattas, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind a brother, and host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Franklin Riley and Ora Lee Pate, Wife, Caryl Jean Riley, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
A funeral is scheduled for March 30, 2021 at 2:00 pm. At Forest Park Funeral Home.
