She was affectionately called "Pue Pue", "Boo Boo" and "La Princessa" by her nieces, nephews and family members. She loved to eat arroz con leche, pizza, noodles, pancakes, but her favorite was "BK" Burger King. She also loved watching the Disney Channel Mickey & Minnie Mouse as well as old western movies such as the "Lone Ranger" and the man with the stick "Bat Masterson."
Julia was born to Antonio Sr. and Paula Hernandez in Houston, Texas on January 28, 1938. She is preceded in death by her parents Antonio Sr. & Paula Hernandez; siblings, Manuela Castillo, Juanita Cortez and Antonio Hernandez Jr.; her surviving siblings include sisters, Mary Nanez (Arthur), Dora Flores (Erasmo), brother, Reynaldo Hernandez (Linda). She was blessed with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A special thank you to all who unselfishly gave their time and love to care for Julia especially within the last four years.
A visitation for Julia will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 11:00 AM followed by graveside at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
