Judy Gayle Petrovich

On May 31st, 1963, Judy married the love of her life, Jerry Steve Petrovich Sr. and they enjoyed 52 wonderful years of marriage. Judy was a stay at home mom, she had a baseball card business, and later owned a flower shop with one of her best friends, Cherie Mendez.

Judy is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Petrovich, her parents Lois and Herbert Riley and her second parents; her Aunt Elvie and Uncle J.L. Perkins that couldn't have children. So Judy was an only child to both of them.

Judy is also preceded in death by her 2 sister in laws, June Sutton and Janice Phipps, who were also her best friends since Junior High and her brother in law James Petrovich.

Judy is survived by her 4 children: Kim Weddel (Larry), Pam Petrovich, Steve Petrovich (Alicia) and Shawn Petrovich (Belinda).

She is survived by her grandchildren: Rachel Wallace (Josh), Matthew Weddel (Taylor), Madison Weddel, Lindsay Weddel, Larry Weddel Jr., Kristan Simmons, Kevin Burgess (Kimberly), Kelsie Canterbury (Hunter), Cody Petrovich, Tori Petrovich, Kali Petrovich, Riley Petrovich, Sandra Weise, Shyann Faith.

Great grandchildren: Cameron Roberts, Austin Roberts, Gracie Wallace, Alaina Wallace, Jaimee Wallace, MacKenzie Weddel, Kendall Burgess, Kolten Burgess, Kasen Burgess, Kaiden Burgess, Kaydence Burgess, Travis Simmons, and Mallory Burgess.

Judy has many dear nieces and nephews along with family in Pitkin, Louisiana. She was close to her cousin Linda Gayle King and her children. Judy loved sports (mainly football), fishing, and flowers.

In her younger days she loved hanging out with her best friends, Janice, June, Cherie, and Vicky & Teddy Howell. Vicki will have lots of fun stories and probably some she can't tell. The Petrovich family built an oceanfront beach house that all the Petrovich siblings and their children enjoyed and have great memories of.
