Judy was born in Spring, Texas on October 11,1948, to Verna Mae and Olive Peacock. She grew up as an only child and spent most of her time with her grandparents Lorenz and Ida Wuensche. She then moved to Pasadena to start her career and build a family. She married Robert (Bobby) Leggett and had four amazing children (David, Kevin, Travis, and Kim). Tragedy struck and her husband passed away while her children were still young. Judy was blessed to meet another partner in Gene Linton until he sadly passed away also. Judy gained four amazing stepchildren (Stacy, Lisa, Pam, and Ernie) who she loved dearly. Judy worked full time at multiple different jobs like throwing newspapers, manager of a washateria, and her favorite by far was as a security guard. She was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around.
Judy enjoyed spending time on the porch with her dogs as she watched them run around and by spending time with her much loved grandchildren. She enjoyed watching game shows, soap operas, and Law and Order. However, her favorite were the older TV shows such as Beverly Hillbillies, Matlock, Andy Griffith, Bewitched, or Dog the Bounty Hunter. She enjoyed singing along while watching Country Music or Rock & Roll on the television. Judy always kept a journal of the shows she watched along with the date and time. Judy enjoyed getting up early to drink her coffee and having a smoke on the front porch while feeding her beloved cats. She really loved animals and never met a stray that she could turn away.
