Judy Brown, age 61, resident of Houston, TX, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012. She was born on March 13, 1951 in Houston, TX to Delbert and Gretna King Hamption. In her early life, she was a student, wife and mother who loved to surf and ride motorcycles. Judy worked as an accountant in the petroleum industry for many years.
Judy was a christian. She had many hobbies and interests, some of which included playing cards and the piano, spending a lot of time on ancestry.com and entertaining her grandson Jake Brown.
Judy's family would like to extend a special thanks to Luis and Jennifer Palomo and to all the friends and family for their support.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son Lance Brown and his wife Dana Brown; and her grandchildren Jake and Samantha Brown.
A celebration of Judy's life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, April 21, 2012 in the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home Champions, 3410 FM 1960 West, Houston, Texas 77068.
