Hi My Sweet Sister, I surely do miss you. The kids seem to be doing ok but I haven't talked to Martin lately to see how he is but I will soon. We are leaving for my 45th class reunion next week and if you were here it would be me and you going and kicking up our heels and having fun. Did I tell you Butch bought me a new car and I love it. Sissy, I really have a lot to talk to you about if you were here. I have learned how to make scrapbook pages and I will be making special ones for you for my scrapbook. I know you are having the grandest party up there in heaven with everyone that we love so I will let you keep partying. I want you to know that I love you with all my heart and always will.

Well Sissy another month has come and gone and I still love and miss you. There is nothing happening these days. I miss not getting to talk to you at night and I always find things to talk to you about but you're not here for us to talk. I miss you so very much and love you also.

Wow Mom, I cannot believe it has already been eight months since you've been gone. Everyone is doing okay… Just taking it a day at a time.
I'm flying out to California tomorrow to take Blake to Universal Studios, Laguna Beach and Hollywood… Going with Holly and Rodney. I will bring you back some sand from that beach and put it on your grave. I went to visit dad on Sunday, MawMaw was there and dad cooked some really good food. MawMaw criticized it but that's okay. Dear mom, today makes the seven months that you've been gone. It is still so hard and still so strange I can't call you. Melanie and I went out on Valentine's Day to decorate your grave and I went back out last weekend and to my surprise the decorations were still there. Nothing much has changed around here except Blake got his drivers license and is driving me crazy for a car. 
Luke is going to have a birthday soon and doesn't want to do anything… I think it's because he misses you and it's not going to be the same.

Hello Sissy, I really miss you. I am still trying to get use to not calling you every night around 9:30. I use to get tickled at you because sometimes you would be so sleepy that you would go to sleep while I was talking to you. I would have to wake you up so you could hang up the phone and I would tell you goodnight and that I love you. It still doesn't feel right you being gone but I thank GOD that you are not hurting anymore. I know that someday we will get to see each other again and catch up on everything that has happened since you went home to be with GOD. My heart still aches and I still cry for you.I think back when we were children and use to play in ma maw reeds chicken house making mud pies and letting them cook in the sun whenever we visited her in Rio Vista. Do you remember the time that you came to see me and Butch at Aunt Nitas and Uncle Reeces house where we were living? It was Easter and Aunt Nita made an Easter bunny cake for the Easter egg hunt and she put it in the floor board of the car and told us not to step in it. Guess who was the first one to put their foot in it? You guessed it , it was you but it still tasted good. Hi Sissy, Christmas has come and gone and now it is almost New Years.  I know that all your children and Martin missed you at Christmas. Today is the 22nd of December and I miss you so very much. Christmas is not the same nor is any other holiday here since you went to your heavenly home. The place where you lay is so beautiful how the girls fixed it for you. Marlene and Mel send me pictures and that I am thankful for. O how I miss you. There is not a day in my life that I don't think of you. Something comes up or is said or my bells ring and I know you are there.
Butch "your brother" as I use to tell you, is taking this hard. His heart is really bad and he can't go far from home. I guess since you are gone now he is my brother. I can hear you laughing at that. He calls me once in a while and I call him to check on him. It was 5 months December 19th I miss you. Dear Mom,
Today makes 5 months that you went to Heaven and I still miss you as much today as the day you left. The hurt and pain is still very real! Melanie and I brought Christmas to you at the cemetary.  We met around 9:30 in the morning, went shopping, sat in the back of her car and put flowers together, made orniments, strung lights and went out and decorated yours and Paw Paw's site.  We spent the whole day there, left, went to eat and came back once it was dark to see how lit up it was.  It was so wonderful becasue we could see it from the end of the street that you are on.  Dad is having a hard time but he will make it through.  He decorated the Christmas tree exactly the way you would have wanted it to be decorated and then he decorated a special place in the house with memories and pictures of you.  Christmas will never be the same but we are going to move forward just as you would have wanted us to.  I love you so very much Mom... Love Marlene

Dear Mom, it's been a while since I've written but I think of you daily. I've been sick a lot and I wished you were here so we could talk about it. Dad has been a huge help!! He took me to the hospital twice for two different procedures and I'm sure he didn't like stepping foot in a hospital. I went to visit you last weekend and sprinkled sand on your grave that I brought from Puerto Vallarta. It's November now and November is National Pancreatic Cancer awareness month. We are also getting ready for Thanksgiving that won't be the same since you aren't here. I'm trying to take over doing what you used to do because Dad can't and Maw Maw is getting too old to do it all. She will be 91 Saturday and we are having a party this Sunday for her. Dad is cooking. He's gotten pretty good at homemade hamburgers. He will be famous for them one day. Well I miss and loved you. Love Always, Marlene

My Dear Sissy, Oh how I miss you. My days aren't the same anymore, there is a blank spot in my heart that you filled when you were here with us and now it is empty. I am so sorry for not being able to help take care of you like you took care of me when we were little. Oh sissy, you were so beautiful inside and out and you brought so much joy to my life and to others. No one knew how much pain you were in before you passed for you never wanted anyone to know how painful the cancer was. I wish I could hold you again but I wouldn't want you to be here and in as much pain as you were before you passed. I guess I am selfish in that way.  Do you remember the time that Butch broke his arm playing Tarzan when we lived in Yorkwood? The time our Doberman pincher jumped daddy because he had a belt in his hand to whip us. Oh how I miss your smiling face and our vacations. We won't be going on vacations anymore together and mine won't be as enjoyable because you won't be with me. Oh yes, Aleta said to tell you hi and she loves you too and said Raimee and his wife said hi also. Well I will talk to you later. Dear Mom,
Today is 6 weeks that we laid you to rest. It still isn't one bit easier. I wish I could talk to you and tell you everything that had been going on or ask your advice on issues. This Saturday we will attend a mass at your church that Dad has set up to be said in your name. He's doing his best but he misses you more than ever. Last Monday was Labor Day and Blake, Melanie, Holly and I all went to visit you. Its a very nice area and peacefull, right next to PawPaw. We brought balloons, flowers and a small flag and put it in the ground above where we thought your head would be laying. You would have got a big kick out of us... while everything was quiet, one of the balloons popped and scared the "you know what" out of us. We all jumped and screamed a little. Blake said it was you doing that and that you must have not liked the red balloon. The girls and I figure that you were letting us know that you knew we were there. A little sign from heaven! I love you Mom and I will write again soon!

Mom, You gave me life, taught me, dressed me, Held me, fought for me, kissed me, Screamed at me but most importantly you loved me unconditionally. There are not enough words to describe just how important you are to me and What an influence you continue to be. Because of you, I am the mother that I am to my boys. Phone Call TO Heaven

GOD is there a phone number to heaven? I would like to make a call. You have someone I love very dearly and she still lives within my heart. She's not like the other angels you have there because she is my sister you see. Her name is Judith and has always been precious to me. She was my sister that took care of me.
We made mud pies when I was only three. You see GOD you made her an angel so she could still watch over me. As years passed and we were apart I always loved her because she lived deep in   my heart. Some day I will see her and she will not be in pain and we can hold each other and never be apart again.

My Dear Judy,
I miss you so much! You've been gone for only three weeks and it feels like three years. If I could do things over, I would do so many things different. The main thing would be to tell you and show you just how much I love you each and every day. 
You were always so happy / upbeat while I was a big gripe. Things that you did made me mad and now I wish that you were here to do them all over again. You were the best mother our kids could have ever had and now that they are all grown up, they know it. One of these days, our seven Grandchildren will realize what a special Grandmother you are.
When you couldn't talk or open your eyes any longer, I would tell you how much I loved you and your lips would say “I love you too”.
I felt so sorry for you with all of the tubes that were coming out of your stomach! You hadn't eaten anything in so long but you still wanted to live just to be with us no matter how much pain you were in.
The only solace I get from all of this is knowing that one day, I don't know when but I will be laying next to you.… Boyfriend and Girlfriend, Husband and Wife and Grandfather and Grandmother for eternity.

It's been one week today that we laid you to rest. I miss you so very much Mom. Love you always.

Mom, words cannot express the heart break that I've felt over your passing. This is by far the worst thing that has ever happened in my life. From the very moment that you got sick, I tried to spend just about every day at the hospital with you and believe me, I know I must have driven you crazy. You being there well over 100 days total and never once complained of all the poking and proding along with biopsy after biopsy just reassured me that you were the strongest woman I've ever known. Then when you were home, my focus was on you trying to help Dad take care of you. I watched and learned everything he had to do to keep you safe, well taken care of and then he learned to trust that he could leave me there alone with you so he could run to the store or go pick up your medicines. Remember when i got caught sneaking you out of the house for a quick stroll? I thought he was going to kill me. I'm so proud to be one of the 4 blessed to call you Mom. You are now an Angel in Heaven and I'm going to pray each day to God and hope he passes my messages along to you as I know you are one of the lucky ones to be blessed in his presence.
