On the morning of December 3, 2020, Judith Ann (Robison) Galloway, 81, passed away peacefully at her home in Huntsville, Texas with her family nearby. She is preceded in death by her parents and many siblings.
Judy was born on February 11, 1939 in Oklahoma, to John and Barbara (Guyer) Robison, attended Aldine High School where she met the love of her life. She and Joel were married on August 28, 1959 and together they had three children: Theresa (Teri) Lynn Arnold and husband Mark of Willis, Tx, Michael (Mike) Hobby Galloway and wife Faye of Spring, Tx, daughter, Kristi Kay Galloway of Huntsville, Tx. She was a devoted and loving Nanny to her grandchildren: Blake Arnold and wife Sara of Montgomery, Tx, Jillian Galloway Tisdel and husband, Brad, of Spring, Tx, Tessa Galloway of Montgomery, Tx, Jake Derkowski of Huntsville, Tx and Bari Derkowski of Magnolia, Tx; and, four great grand-daughters, Lola Arnold, Evie Arnold, Sophie Arnold of Montgomery, Tx and Eden Edwards-Derkowski of Graham, Texas. Judy loved her family.
Judy was a fierce and determined fighter, she was a two-time survivor of cancer and enjoyed a spirited conversation about news, sports and politics. Judy made the best pies, was a talented seamstress and made sure all her loved ones had a homemade quilt as a keepsake. She enjoyed gardening and reading as much as a competitive game of dominoes or cards.
Heaven gained a courageous and spunky angel. She will be dearly missed.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Judy’s life well lived at Brookside Funeral Home and Memorial Park , 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039 on December 23, 2020.
